• Brinell value is 10 which means that hardened wood is 3 x harder and more durable than traditional oak parquet. Top layer of hardened wooden flooring is hardened with ceramic wood composite and is more wear and scratch resistance than product without hardened top layer.  

• Fire Class EN 13 501: Cfl-s1 (flame-retardant rating with limited smoke emission (s1)

• Shrinks/swells only 4 – 6 % while for example multilayer parquet shrinks/swollen 14 – 16 %
  Up to  625 m2 (25 x 25 m)can be installed as one whole floor without dividing floor with movement joints.
  NOTICE: Movement joints between the floor and walls/all fixed (stationary) obstacles like radiator pipes must be done according to our installing instructions.  

• Environmental friendly alternative. 10 x more hardened wood is produces from same amount of lumber compared to multilayer parquet. Oak raw material comes from Europe (Slavonian high quality oak). Our oak is FSC certified. 

• 100% PVC free flooring. Does not include plastic or fossil raw materials. 

• 100 % natural. Very low emissions: EN 717-1: <  0,05 ppm (E1 = 0,1 ppm)   

•  New waterproof 5G Dry joint.  Tested with 48 hour NALFA/ISO 4760 test. Fulfills all requirements of ISO 4760. 

Our Woodura is tested waterproof for 72 hours. 

• Core layer made of Compositek (Trademark of Välinge). Välinge created an alternative to HDF that has a higher surface density, 1/10 of the surface swelling and a much lower formaldehyde release compared to HDF. 
  This makes for a more stable and higher quality end product.

• Weight of hardened wooden flooring 11 kg/m2  –  a very stable and level floor!

• Bjelin hardened wooden floor is an environmentally friendly product. Our cured wood flooring binds 5.9 kg more carbon dioxide per square meter than is generated during manufacturing and transportation, making our cured wood flooring carbon neutral (or rather carbon negative) and environmentally positive. Our products have an EPD. 

• Very good with floor heating. Transmits very well heat from underfloor heating system to the surface of flooring as structure of hardened wooden flooring is very tight and does not include air pockets. Furthermore, the whole product is made of wood which feels warmer than plastic or stone/ceramic floor coverings even without floor heating system. Safer option than multilayer parquet as hardened wooden floorings shrinks only 4 – 6 %. 

• Sound of footsteps same than for multilayer parquet (tested by a building company in a newbuilt block of flats). 

• Production technology is called Woodura: top veneer is hardened with ceramic wood composite from bottom to top. Composite liquid absorbs into top veneer and into core layer integrating them into each other very solidly. No glue is used. Also bottom veneer is hardened and integrated with core layer with ceramic wood composite liquid. The whole structure of board becomes very durable and water resistant.
